On When the Shadows Fall, Kevin sings modern interpretations of standards like "Too Close for Comfort" and "A Timeless Place," (composed by Jimmy Rowles as "The Peacocks," with lyrics by Norma Winstone).  The album includes the song "Times Square," written  by guitarist and composer Barry Reynolds.  Kevin has also created a medley of two songs that listeners are very familiar with:  "Plastic Jesus," which moviegoers first heard in the film Cool Hand Luke, and the timeless spiritual, "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms," which Robert Mitchum sang in the classic film, Night of the Hunter.
